Item Description

A striking, large, 11.2 cm, sharply terminated, mint-green diopside crystal is dramatically set on pastel-pink calcite matrix on this impresssive and excellent specimen from this well-known Bancroft area locale. The lustrous crystal is moderately translucent and has nifty layering. The trivial bit of bruising at the termination and the contacting near the base have very little impact to the overall outstanding quality of this large specimen.
