Item Description
Lustrous, stepped-growth yellow-brown andradite garnets form a sculptural and uncommonly colored large mounded specimen from well-known Stanley Butte. The impressive, large for the locale, crystal near the top is 5.5 cm across. Most andradites from here are shades of olive-green. The specimen is solid crystallized andradite with the back being dark and light olive-green. It has HUGE crystals for this locality! The piece displays well without aid. Ex Gary Weaver Collection. An excellent example of this rare color varietal from the locale.
