Item Description
Sedalia Mine almandines are a Colorado classic. This is a large, well-defined, lustrous dodecahedron with primary reddish-orange color. Some faces are coated with green chlorite schist, adding color and pizzazz. It is not polished. An impressive large crystal for the locale, this is a major USA specimen or COLORADO specimen. Mass is 1048 grams or 2.3 pounds! That fact and the photos speak for itself! Ex Don Belsher and Robert Nowakowski Collection. Valued at $1500
