Item Description

An incredibly rare specimen of the sodium magnesium vanadate species Huemulite associated with the very rare calcium vanadate species, Pascoite from the Uranium Mine No. 21 in Pribram. This piece is the only specimen of this ridiculously rare combination that we've ever had to offer in the auctions. The Huemulite is a yellow-orange color, and the Pascoite is a darker reddish-orange hue. If you collect rarities, do not miss out on this one as you might not see another on the market for a long time. For reference, Huemulite is only found in just over a dozen localities worldwide. The species was named in 1966 after the Huemul Uranium Mine in Argentina. PLEASE NOTE: This material is easily soluable in water, so keep it dry. The piece comes with a label from the well-known rarities dealer and Czech mineral expert, Josef Vajdak.
