Hubnerite w/ Quartz (Gary Hansen)

Item Description

Impressive curved sprays of splendent, splayed, parallel-growth, hubnerite blades are strikingly accented with quartz crystals on this showy combination piece from the famous Pasto Bueno District. Many of the narrower blades glow with classic cherry-red translucence under bright light. Some of the crystals in the tall cluster are terminated, with most of the crystals, overall in the piece having contacted terminations. Side wear is noted on some sides, but is certainly a modest detraction. This is classic and fine quality, 360-degree, older combination material from this noted locale from the Dr. Gary Hansen dealer stock and dates to the 1970s or early 80s.
