Item Description

A very fine, very aesthetic combination plate from the renowned Sweet Home Mine. The striking, mirror-bright, brassy, sharply striated pyrite cubes really stand out on the quartz needle-covered matrix plate. In close proximity are small clusters of metallic-gray tetrahedrite crystals and few hubnerite blades. The hubnerites glow with cherry-red translucence under bright light. The quartz matrix on the back includes massive purple fluorite. A bit of crystal bruising, breakage and periphery wear are noted, but very minimally detract from the overall dramatic presentation of this classic and excellent combination.
