Item Description

A very hard to find specimen from the famous Grizzly Bear Mine when it was operated by the Zanett family in the 1980s. The piece features approximately 1-2 mm, sharp, lustrous, dark reddish-brown tabular crystals of Hübnerite sitting atop white Quartz matrix. The Hübnerite crystals are nestled in little vugs in the Quartz, so you need to look closely to see them, but they are good quality and very attractive up close. You just don't see Hübnerite specimens from this mine on the market anywhere, don't miss out. From the collection of Brian Kosnar.
