Item Description
Parallel-growth clusters of highly lustrous thin hubnerite blades are aesthetically set in the sculptural dense nest of gemmy to translucent quartz points. The impressive frontal hubnerite cluster is 8.5 cm tall. A very attractive combination from one of the most famous Peruvian localities. The hubnerite cluster on the left has a contacted termination, certainly acceptable in the context of these specimens. Bright light reveals classic areas of typical wine-red translucence on the prism faces and along the edges. Ex Raul Sanabria Collection.
