Item Description

A classic and HIGHLY displayable small cabinet specimen from one of the great iconic Peruvian localities. The piece features a 4.2 cm long layered group of very sharp, rather lustrous, prismatic crystals of Hubnerite aesthetically flaring off crystallized prismatic white Quartz crystals. The termination on the top of the Hubnerite group looks as though at one point it was contacted, but if you look with a loupe, it truly appears to be recrystallized / healed ("rehealed") and it's not broken. With that said, the is in great shape overall, and it's so showy. It's important to note that some of the finest display specimens of Hubnerite were found at this mine in the 1970s, and they are still icons in the mineral world.
