Hübnerite (gemmy) on Quartz with rare Sphalerite association

Hübnerite is at its best from the famous Huayllapon Mine, as the top crystals are incredibly lustrous, well-formed and often show fiery internal red color when backlit. This is a classic association specimen featuring a group of fine quality, sharp, highly lustrous, prismatic crystals of Hübnerite, measuring up to 4.1 cm, sitting on lustrous, gemmy, colorless, prismatic Quartz matrix. There are some contacted terminations on the Hübnerites, so they're not all damage-free, but they show an intense red hue when they are backlit. I can also see a few rarely seen rich orange colored, gemmy crystals of Sphalerite on the back of the piece for a nice touch.
