Item Description

A classic thumbnail specimen from one of the most famous classic Peruvian localities. This piece hosts a group of fine quality, sharp, lustrous, prismatic crystals of Hübnerite, free of matrix. Nearly every Hubnerite crystal is damage free, as far as I can see with the naked eye. The BEST part of the specimen is that the Hubnerites actually show the classic and highly desirable BLOOD RED hue in small areas when backlit! A wonderful example of this top-notch and hard to find material that came out 40 years ago. From the collection of Shields Flynn.
