Item Description
The Adams Mine in the San Juans has produced some of the finest North American hubnerites and this is a striking and excellent example. This fine piece consists of divergent sprays of highly lustrous, mahogany-brown blades on the contrasting monzonite matrix. Blades on this fine piece reach 2 cm. This historic Colorado locality is featured in a recent (2011) Lithographie monograph, The San Juan Triangle of Colorado. Ex Vernon & Zona Braun Collection.
