Item Description

This aesthetic piece consists of striking divergent sprays of highly lustrous, mahogany-brown blades on the contrasting monzonite matrix. Blades on this fine piece reach 3.0 cm. The Adams Mine in the San Juans has produced some of the finest North American hubnerites and this is an excellent example. This historic Colorado locality is featured in the 2011 Lithographie monograph, The San Juan Triangle of Colorado.
