Hoppered Pyromorphite xls (excellent)

Item Description

Juicy, beautiful apple-green pyromorphite prisms richly and aesthetically cover both sides of the sturdy gossan matrix on this most excellent example from the famous Daoping Mine. Many of the intensely lustrous and translucent barrels, to 1.9 cm, are strongly hoppered. A trivial bit of crystal bruising and contacting is noted, but most of it is concentrated on the periphery. This is a very fine miniature specimen with vivid color, high luster, artistic form and highly desirable hoppered crystals. These are world-class pyromorphites and someday soon we will wonder where they all went, just like Les Farge and Bunker Hill.
