A striking CABINET specimen of splendent, battleship-gray galena crystals with unusual characteristics from the well-known Krushev dol Mine at Madan. Many of the crystals are thin, blocky rather than cubic, blocky, as some nearby crystals are. Some crystals are very strongly hoppered or exhibit dramatic "fortification style" growth. And perhaps most unusual, many crystals have rounded corners and edges - they look partially melted! A very showy, highly representative and highly unusual galena from this noted locale.
