Item Description
Hopeite is a rare hydrated zinc phosphate, with the very best specimens worldwide coming from the famous Broken Hill Mine of Zambia. This extremely rich and excellent thumbnail from the Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection has a glorious dense forest of gemmy and lustrous, colorless prisms to 1.2 cm aesthetically clustered atop a gossan matrix wedge. Old-time, very high quality hopeite obtained from the Antica Collection in Rome in 1960.
