Bubbly, nubby hollandite with a moderate luster matte-gray color forms a showy and sculptural two-sided crust from this well-known District, famous for beautiful precious opal and wood opal specimens. Hollandite is VERY RARE from here and this is solid hollandite. This exceptional rarity was formerly in the collection of well-known Arizona mining engineer, mineralogist, collector, educator and author, Arthur Flagg, who passed away in 1961.
