Item Description
Hodgkinsonite is a very rare manganese, zinc silicate found only in the Franklin Mining District of New Jersey. This piece is from the well knonwn New Jersey collection of Rich Kosnar and features translucent, pinkish color Hodgkinsonite on matrix. A very cool representative specimen of this HARD to find material. The piece came from the collection of Rich Kosnar, which he acquired from his mentor, noted New Jersey collector Frances Patricia "Pat" Gross.
