Item Description

Polished marble samples are seldom on the market from these old limestone quarries in Laas, Italy (formerly Austria). This is a lustrous, porcelaneous marble slab of sugary, white layered marble with a few tiny sulfide speckles. Old material, probably 1800s and comes with an old label and a well-embellished advertising label glued to the back of the slab. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Possibly unique material with the interesting old labelling.
