Item Description
Hilairite is a very rare hydrated Na-Zr silicate and the famous Poudrette Quarry is the Type Locality. The red arrow points toward a few lustrous, translucent, brown crystals, to 2 mm, on the matrix. These crystals are of typical size for the locale. The back face has embedded aegirine crystal sections. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection.
