Item Description
Unusual, and very attractive, plate of multiple-generations of Heulandites, accented by Calcites and other accessory minerals. The primary layer of Heulandites is an unusually thin elongated growth of crystals with the classic deep green (a very pure, lovely green) included by Celadonite. That is sandwiched by thin layers of a beautiful brick red Heulandite, likely included with Hematite, along with more Celadonite-included Heulandite. Along one edge, there are gemmy green crystals that are very evident and appear to be Apophyllites. Very aesthetic, this piece is out of the ordinary, and from Charlie Key's noted Indian minerals suite.
