Item Description
One of the most unusual, and intriguing, Heulandite specimens I have seen. On side of this plate is solid Heulandite included with Celadonite crystals, an unusual and classic variety. They all have excellent luster, and range up to 1.5 cm in size. The reverse side of the plate are equally lustrous, light peach-colored gemmy Heulandites that are more classic in color, and even more beautiful. These range up to about 1.1 cm in size. The only way I can explain this amazing and mysterious combination is that perhaps these were in two adjacent vugs, and they shared a common wall. How else do you get two completely different, seemingly contemporaneous, Heulandites. Not complaining, though - it's a great specimen.
