Heulandite (rare pink color) (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

This Trap Rock locality is one of the most impressive (and under appreciated) localities in the world. This quarry has produced some amazing specimens in the last 100 years. This specimen features some light pink color Heulandite - rare for New Jersey. The crystals are extremely attractive with excellent luster and great form. To top it off, the Heulandites are assocaited with a bit of rhombic Calcite and chalk white Laumontite sitting on gemmy Quartz crystal on basalt matrix. You don't see many specimens of this material on the market these days, ESPECIALLY with pink color. A nice display specimen from this historic east coast locality.
