Item Description

Mineral specimens of ANY variety are rare from this locality in the Pitz Valley of Austria. Pretty orangish-red, lustrous and translucent, tabular, heulandite crystals are attractively festooned on the mounded matrix. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. This is outstanding, very colorful heulandite for any Austrian locale, but especially as a zeolite from this very uncommon locale. Ex Al Ordway Collection # 5340.
