Item Description

A classic, display specimen featuring sharp, well-formed, lustrous, pearly pink to chalky white Heulanite growing on stalactites of bluish colored Chalcedony. The luster varies from "wet"/vitreous to a flat matte hue, and it's directly proportionate the color of the crystals, as the chakly white crystals have almost no luster. The largest crystal measures 2.9 cm. The piece is in great shape overall and the displayability is wonderful. Indian Zeolites and associated minerals may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant! From and old East Coast collection, so I would date it at least 25 years old.
