Item Description
A RARE, adorable and colorful zeolite combination from this obscure Parana State, Brazil locale. Rosettes of lustrous, translucent, reddish-brown heulandite blades are dramatically accented with snow-white mordenite balls. These are aesthetically set in a sculptural vug in basalt matrix lined with green celadonite, an uncommon Mica Group species. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 12589 and acquired in Tucson. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). An articulate and uncommon combination cutie from the less well-known locale.
