Item Description
Unusual, and very attractive, plate of multiple-growth Heulandites, accented by Calcites and other accessory minerals. The primary thick layer of Heulandites is the classic deep green (a very pure, lovely green) included by Celadonite, growing in blocky, slightly curved crystals averaging about .3-.4 cm. The lower, thinner layer (about .5 cm thick) is a beautiful brick red Heulandite, likely included with Hematite. The green layer on top is accented with very nice, honey-colotred Calcites up to about .4 cm. Extremely aesthetic, this piece is out of the ordinary, and from Charlie Key's noted Indian minerals suite
