Item Description
Indian specimens are everywhere these days, but this piece really stands out against the thousands on the market due to the great quality of the crystals. This piece features HIGHLY lustrous, good size, translucent, pearly, whitish-pink Heulandnite on chalk white Mordenite on basalt matrix. The largest group measures 2.7 cm, and several of the crystals are very gemmy for Heulandite. From the Rich Kosnar collection. It is not a contemporary specimen as it was found about 20 years ago, and the quality is superb for the species. Many people may discount Indian zeolites because they are so plentiful on the market, but they have to be respected due to the fact that many of them are simply the finest crystallized examples of their respective species! Valued at $600-$750.
