Heulandite (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

This Trap Rock locality is one of the most impressive (and under appreciated) localities in the world. This quarry has produced some amazing specimens in the last 100 years. This specimen features some excellent, translucent to gemmy, white/colorless Heulandite crystals up to 1.2 cm with soft green "balls" of Prehnite and minor pink crystals of what could possibly be Albite on matrix. You don't see many specimens of this material on the market these days, and since the locality is completely finished, we will continue to see less and lesss on the market. A nice association display specimen from this historic east coast locality.
