A very aesthetic and sculptural association specimen from Jalgaon featuring a superb, doubly-terminated, pearly, lustrous, translucent, pale peach to colorless colored group of Heulandite-(Ca) associated with lovely soft peach colored groups (one of which is doubly-terminated) of sharp, lustrous Stilbite-(Ca) sitting atop drusy dark greenish colored Chalcedony matrix. The Heulandite group measures 4.9 cm across and the largest Stilbite measures 4.7 cm. The only real damage I can see is a spot of interrupted growth at the base of the largest Stilbite group, where it presumably grew against another crystal or the pocket wall. This classic combination of Heulandite and Stilbite is iconic for Jalgaon. Valued at $2,400 retail. Ex Dr. Stephen Smale Collection.
