Heulandite-(Ca) with Fluorapophyllite-(K) and Epistilbite (ex Dr. Stephen Smale Collection)

A wonderful example of this classic material featuring, very lustrous (pearly), translucent, white/colorless crystal groups of Heulandite-(Ca) measuring up to 3.0 cm associated with a few blocky, lustrous, pale green colored crystals of Fluorapophyllite-(K) tucked inside of an open basalt geode/vug lined with dark colored drusy Chalcedony and Chamosite. If you look at the bag of the piece there is another white/colorless crystal group, but it really doesn't look like Heulandite, and I'm almost certain it's Epistilbite as I've seen similar pieces from this locality with Epistilbite in the past ( https://www.mindat.org/photo-52571.html ). Excellent quality all around and desirable material from one of the premier localities in the Deccan Trap. Indian Zeolites (and associated species) may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant !
