A very aesthetic and sculptural combination plate from Jalgaon featuring a gorgeous, lustrous, translucent, maroon colored group of Heulandite-(Ca) blades associated with lovely peach colored groups of sharp, lustrous Stilbite-(Ca) sitting atop a Chalcedony-coated thin plate of basalt. The pristine Heulandite group measures 3.8 cm long and the largest Stilbite measures 2.8 cm. Most Heulandite around the world is often white or colorless, and this richly colored heulandite varietal is RARE outside of India. Valued at $1,500 retail. Ex Dr. Stephen Smale Collection.
