Item Description
A really unique and eye-catching specimen from one of the most productive mineral producing regions in the last few decades. A fairly sharp, lustrous, well-formed, purplish crystal of Heulanite along with a single white/colorless blade of Stilbite are sitting atop an unusual "cricket bat"-shaped matrix of Chalcedony after Calcite. These specimens came out years ago, and I have seen very few of them around in the last 10-15 years. The piece is in great shape overall and the displayability leaves little to be desired from an aesthetic standpoint. Indian Zeolites may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant! This piece is really cool, and would make a great addition to any collection. From the Brian Kosnar collection.
