Item Description
Fine, sharp, lustrous, well-formed, rich peach-orange colored, pearly, layered crystals of Heulandite sit upon minor basalt matrix. Both pieces are great quality and very showy for the material. Good condition for the most part, with a little bit of roughness here and there. The largest crystal on either specimen measures 1.6 cm. This is some of the richest colored Heulandite you wil lsee from any locality. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#6932 and #6933). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
