Item Description

Hetaerolite is a rare zinc, manganese oxide. This very showy, rare and old specimen is from the famous mines at Bisbee. This is an extremely rich and striking 360-degrtee specimen, with the hetaerolite aligned in botryoidal, stalactitic form on all four sides. The high luster, where the botryoids are well-formed, is exceptional. A superlative example from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Probably older material, but no proof. A must for the Bisbee or species collector.
