An exceptional, highly sculptural and RARE matrix Herkimer style quartz  small cabinet from this well-known New York locale. Two water-clear, facet-like gem quartz crystals, to 2.1 cm, dramatically protrude, like glassy eyes, from the striking artistic curved small cabinet matrix. Matrix specimens of this quality are rare, as the crystals generally come off during excavation of the hard matrix. The matrix is covered with two generations brown pyrobitumen-included quartz crystals, adding even more pizzazz. The fantastic knob with the Herkimers hosts much larger second generation sharply terminated, transparent/translucent crystals with the rest of the matrix being covered with tiny, sparkly included quartz points.
