Hemimorphite with Veszelyite

Item Description

A beautiful contrast of sharp, intense blue crystals of the rare copper zinc phosphate Veszelyite perched on rolling "balls" of saturated, turquoise-blue Hemimorphite on sawed host rock matrix. Although such association was found in abundance at one time, few specimens featured isolated crystals like this, and had both species in good color and quality. Under magnification, the Veszelyite is really eye-catching, and there are only a few localities in the world where you can get Veszelyite that you can see with the naked eye.
