Item Description

Harold self-collected this in 1994 (when he was pushing 70!) by descending into the old workings of the 79 Mine. It has his old label noting he priced it at the time but then he decided to keep it! It is a gorgeous and unusual, and large, specimen I would value at more like $900-ish today, with glistening sugary quartz sprinkled in a very thin layer over large hemimorphite balls. All is in a complex, 3-dimensional matrix with pockets. The quality is outstanding for this material, which you normally only see on the market as small 1-5mm balls in miniature sizes. Some small bits of calcite are the white material in association near the base of the piece.
