Item Description
Sparkling, colorless to iron oxide-tinted, hemimorphite crystals in spherical aggregates line the sculptural large vug in massive, banded hemimorphite on this classic, old-time and showy specimen from Sterling Hill. Old-timers called hemimorphite "calamine" from here, pre-1900. Excellent material from the Robert Whitmore Collection.
