Hemimorphite (superb color)

This is a fine example of the intensely colored botryoidal Hemimorphites to come out of Wenshan in the past few years. These specimens are certainly well-known on the market, but it doesn't take away from the impressive color and quality. Dozens of beautiful saturated sky blue "balls" can be seen all over the display side of this cabinet sized specimen. The luster is what I would call "waxy", and the Hemimorphites actually have wonderful internal color when backlit. The piece is contacted around the edges where it was removed from the pocket and later trimmed, but this is good quality material and now not easy to find on the market. The dealers in China put high values on these specimens, so don't miss out on snagging a nice one for a great bargain. Priced in our inventory at $1,200.
