Item Description

This extinct Pb-Zn mine, worked from 1935 until 1983, gave up a very interesting suite of Cu-Zn secondary minerals by amateur mineralogists after closing (MINDAT). Pretty sky-blue hemimorphite is nicely complimented by chalcedony and tiny blebs of malachite or rosasite on both sides of this rich and showy large specimen. Self-collected by Paco Gutierrez.
