Mineral specimens are uncommon from this old extinct hemimorphite-rich zinc mining area. Most of the mines were closed prior to 1900. This is a RARE style of hemimorphite for the locale. Sculptural mounded translucent bubbly bone-white botryoids comprise this very showy and rich ore specimen. Undoubtedbly old and very choice material from the Paterson Museum Collection. A MUST for the locality or species collector.
