Hemimorphite (rare blue color)

A beautiful and certainly uncommon blue color (from copper content) Hemimorphite from the renowned copper deposit at Kimbedi in Republic of Congo (Brazzaville). Typically, Hemimorphite is colorless, and I have only seen blue Hemimorphite like this from a few world localities. The"balls" on this specimen are attractive up close, and this is undoubtedly one of the few Hemimorphites from this locality that I have seen, especially with this color. Don't miss out on this rare and beautiful display specimen. The piece has a couple saw marks on the back, and a few dings on the front, but the color is really saturated and good cabinets like this are few and far between.
