Hemimorphite (rare blue color)

A beautiful and certainly uncommon blue Hemimorphite from the renowned copper deposit at Kimbedi in the Congo. Typically, Hemimorphite is colorless, and I have only seen blue Hemimorphite like this from a few world localities. The important aspect of this Hemimorphite is the fact that it is NOT opaque, but actually translucent with good luster! The crystals are pretty attractive up close, and this is undoubtedly one of the few Hemimorphites from this locality that I have seen. Don't miss out on this rare and beautiful display specimen.
