Item Description

Well-formed Quartz is VERY RARE from the well-known deposits of the Wenshan area, best known for rich blue Hemimorphite, Calcite, Cobaltoan Calcite and Aragonite specimens. Rich sky-blue Hemimorphite nearly covers the entire field of RARE, glassy, dipyramidal Quartz crystals, to about 2.0 cm, on this striking, colorful small cabinet plate from the Dulong Sn-Zn deposit. Quartz faces peering out from the Hemimorphite really add character to this sculptural piece. A rare, perhaps UNIQUE combination from the locale.
