Beautiful juicy sky-blue hemimorphite botryoids with waxy luster are a thin 2-4 mm crust on matrix on this very fine, colorful and rare specimen from an obscure Mexican locale - Magistral in Durango. It closely resembles classic Kelly smithsonite, but it's not. This limited amount of material came on the market in the early 1970s, with none since. A fine, desirable and colorful Mexican rarity.
