Item Description

A striking and very aesthetic jackstraw cluster of glassy hemiorphite crystals from the Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia. Circa 1980s production. The form of this piece is very fine, with the long crystal being 8.4 cm. The front is beautifully accented with a rich preferential sprinkling of scintillating, small hemimorphites. The front is pristine, except the small crystal in the upper left has a broken tip, which is certainly not detracting at all. The back looks just as fine, except there are no secondary crystals and part of the large crystal termination is broken off (totally out of sight on the front). For quality and aesthetics, this is top-class Santa Eulalia hemimorphite. Valued at $500-750.
