Item Description

A classic specimen from the famous Santa Eulalia area in Mexico featuring several good-sized, sharp, lustrous, stark white colored prismatic crystal groups of Hemimorphite measuring up to 4.7 cm long on a thin layer of gossan matrix. The backs of the crystals have a very slight dusting of reddish iron oxide to create an added touch of color. Excellent quality (no real damage that I can see outside of the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket wall), superb aesthetics, and a true classic from Mexico. It's rare to find nearly 2-inch crystals of Hemimorphite free-standing on matrix like this from ANY locality, and the specimens from Santa Eulalia are among the best examples of the species in the world for their size and overall quality. Valued $2,400.
