Item Description
Two generations of rust-red oxide-tinted hemimorphite blades totally cover the large sculptural triangular layered matrix on this showy and colorful specimen from the famous mines at Santa Eulalia. The well-placed 2.9 cm rosette of larger second generation blades is the highlight. A third generation of even smaller blades on the back is a nice bonus. Hemimorphite is a classic and abundant species from Santa Eulalia and this excellent, rich large specimen is from the Gary Weaver Collection.
