Item Description
Over the years, there have been a few important discoveries of attractive blue Hemimorphite from a few localities in the renowned copper deposits in Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville). Around 2011-2014 artisanal miners worked the locale for specimens and came up with some fine pieces. These specimens have excellent color and the vast majority are good sized display specimens. This large miniature / small cabinet sized piece features a coverage of beautiful bright sky blue colored botryoidal Hemimorphite associated with minor beige-brown micro Willemite You need a strong loupe or a microscope to see those little crystals, but I was able to find them fairly easily. A very attractive and good quality example of these beautiful specimens.
